Butternut Squash Pie with Sorghum Whipped Cream

November 18, 2012 by The Runaway Spoon 2 Comments

Butternut squash is one of my favorite fall foods.  I buy whole squashes at the last farmers markets, and when I see pre-cut pieces in the store, I buy those up too.  I make pasta sauces and quick soups, I roast and mash. I'm P.C. I think I am like most people. Somewhere in the middle between food snob and food schlub. Just being in the kitchen makes me happy. I live, mostly in my kitchen, in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
