Honey Black Pepper Cornmeal Dinner Rolls

October 15, 2017 by The Runaway Spoon Leave a Comment

I’ve spoken many times before about my desire to produce perfect baked breads and rolls, and my all-to-frequent failures with yeast, kneading and patience. But my quest for easy, no fuss, no fail breads and dinner rolls is an on-going adventure. Sometimes I hit, sometimes I miss, but this recipe is definitely a hit. Instant yeast and the stand mixer make idiot proof rolls like … [Read more...] about Honey Black Pepper Cornmeal Dinner Rolls

Super Simple Focaccia with Gorgonzola and Walnuts

This bread has the lovely, … [Read more...] about Guinness and Oatmeal Quick Bread

I suppose you could stir in any fresh herb, but the subtle taste of chives complements almost any soup. Serve these warm with a little butter melting into the crevices, and you’ve got a … [Read more...] about Chive Muffins

I'm P.C. I think I am like most people. Somewhere in the middle between food snob and food schlub. Just being in the kitchen makes me happy. I live, mostly in my kitchen, in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
