Sweet Potato Angel Biscuits

November 7, 2012 by The Runaway Spoon 7 Comments

I do give thanks for biscuits.  And I love a little biscuit bite in the Thanksgiving bread basket, particularly when they are made seasonal with the addition of sweet potato.  These angel biscuits use yeast to get an extra rise, which is helpful when you add the dense potato purée.  Make sure you potato is cooked through and soft to create the smoothest purée. This lovely little tipple is … [Read more...] about Rosemary Pear Martini

I'm P.C. I think I am like most people. Somewhere in the middle between food snob and food schlub. Just being in the kitchen makes me happy. I live, mostly in my kitchen, in my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
